Public Beach Access In Destin Florida.
There are multiple options to where you can take a paddleboard out and paddle in the Gulf. Below is basic information about local beach access with restrooms, parking spaces, and picnic areas.

June White Decker Beach Park near BackPorch Waterfront Restaurant with over 70 parking spaces, showers and restrooms.
Henderson Beach The park has over 300 parking spaces, beach wheelchairs, covered picnic pavilions, restroom facilities, grills, accessible campsites and parking. Call 850.837.7550 for more information. Admission fee.
Shore at Crystal Beach Park 9 parking spaces, restrooms, showers and a covered picnic area.
James Lee Park is a county beach park with over a quarter of a mile of beach near the Walton/Okaloosa County line and Crab Trap Waterfront Restaurant. This park has 3 pavilions, 41 picnic tables, 9 dune walkovers, a playground, restrooms with changing rooms, showers and over 100 parking spaces.

Limited Beach Opening Destin FL
On Tuesday, April 21st, 2020, the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved to reopen the unincorporated county beaches on a limited basis beginning May 1st, 2020. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention social distancing guidelines still apply.
**Citizens must adhere to CDC guidelines – “6-foot separation” and “10 people or less”
The plan can be expanded or scaled back based on how COVID-19 continues to affect our community.
All unincorporated Okaloosa County beaches will open May 1st, 2020 at the following times:
6:30 am - 9:00 am
4:30 pm - 7 pm
